Endorsement

1. Complete our written questionnaire; the questionnaire reflects key issues that measure alignment with feminist values, policy vision, leadership record, and community accountability. The Feminist Caucus Endorsement Committee will assess overall strength of the candidate’s campaign capacity and importance of the seat given the DFL’s statewide electoral priorities.  We will also give intentional consideration to intersectional leadership capacity and how candidates integrate historically-excluded and underrepresented groups in their platforms and/or candidacy.

2. The Feminist Caucus Endorsement Committee will review questionnaire responses and determine whether to consider a candidate interview.

3. Interviews (via zoom) will take about 30 minutes with the Feminist Caucus Endorsement Committee. Their recommendation, and all materials, will be forwarded to the Feminist Caucus Executive Committee for a final endorsement decision. You will be notified as soon as possible.
